Walther & Sohne Pink Rotterdam Lamp

Stunningly elegant and original art deco lamp made in pink glass. The base is a beautifully modelled nude lady manufactured by the German company, Walther & Sohne in the late 1920s and this piece was called Rotterdam. The frosted shade is a fabulous star shape. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there is some black tape around the rim of the shade which isn't visible once in place in the gallery - I presume to prevent scratches or chips to the shade. The lamp is fully working and recently PAT tested and rewired with an inline switch. The lamp gallery is the original and has dulled to matte. A stunning talking point for any room and becoming rarer to source. A striking original art deco lamp. Height - 41 cms.
