Walther & Sohne Lady Lamp

Stunning art deco lamp base or candlestick holder in the shape of a lady. By German manufacturer Walther & Sohne in the 1930s, she is beautifully modelled in clear glass. Her features are sharp and clear and the glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; some minute nibbles to the back of the candlestick support. At some point, this was converted to be a lamp base as she has two drilled holes in the back but this has been done well and does not show from the front. It could therefore be used as either a lamp base or candlestick. A lovely vintage art deco item. Height - 18.5 cms.
