Tedd Spelter Dog Bookends

Charming art deco bookends with dogs on a marble base. The dogs are lovingly modelled from spelter and in good condition with patina; the back ear of one of the dogs is very slightly chipped and the dogs have spots of tarnishing. The bases are made from a grey marble; in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Signed Tedd who was a French manufacturer of the 1920s and 1930s. A lovely pair of original art deco bookends.  Height - 12.75 cms. Width each - 11.75 cms. Depth - 7.25 cms.
