Charming art deco bookends with deer on a marble base. The deer are spectacularly modelled from spelter and in excellent condition with a beautiful patina; one slightly dulled on one side. The bases are made from a striking black marble; again in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Signed Tedd to the deer who was a French manufacturer of the 1920s and 1930s. A lovely pair of original art deco bookends. Height - 10 cms. Width each - 10 cms. Depth - 8.25 cms.
