Tedd Panther Bookends

Rare art deco bookends with panthers on a marble base. Signed by French manufacturer Tedd, the panthers are lovingly modelled from spelter and in good condition with patina; patches of tarnishing a d one appear slightly lighter than the other but not overly noticeable. The bases are made from a wonderful coloured marble; in excellent condition with one minute nibble to one corner. A scarce pair of original art deco bookends.  Height - 12 cms. Width each - 15.5 cms. Depth - 7.5 cms.
