Stylised Bird Bookends

Stunning pair of art deco bookends with a marble base and two stylised and gilt birds. The black marble is rippled with browns and greys and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The two birds look to be stylised peacocks and are wonderfully detailed and in great condition. A heavy and unusual pair of original art deco bookends. Width each - 20.25 cms. Depth - 8.25 cms. Height - 14.5 cms.
