Stratton Princess 1950s Compact

Beautiful art deco powder compact made by British manufacturer Stratton. Dating from around the 1950s, this shape is called Princess. The front has a wonderful black enamel and gold coloured design with a small area of paint loss to one portion of the enamel as shown. The inside is clean and contains the original sifter. The inside powder compartment is marked with the Stratton 'compact in hand' logo. The compact closes securely. A charming vintage compact, this would make a fabulous gift for any lady. Diameter - 7.5 cms.
