Stag Marble Photo Frame

Beautiful art deco photo frame from France. The base is made from a lovely white and dark red rippled marble base with different strips of marble along the front including a pretty green/blue colour and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some minor scuffing to the edges. The spelter stag to the side is very nicely modelled and in similarly excellent condition. The original glass panes can be positioned vertically or horizontally and the front pane has a charming silvered border however this is worn in places and so can be positioned to the back so not on show. Currently this has a paper print of 'Portrait of Marquis Sommi' c1925 by Tamara De Lempicka for display purposes. A wonderful and original art deco photo frame. Length - 39.75 cms. Depth - 7.5 cms. To hold photo of 24 x 18 cms (9.5 x 7 ins).
