St Clement Tea Set

Wonderful art deco ceramic tea set consisting of teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and tray. Made and backstamped by French manufacturer St Clement in the 1930s, this set is in a lovely light green colour with gold edging and detailing. All pieces have a moulded pattern to the surround. All in excellent condition with the exception of the milk jug which has had the handle broken and glued back in place. Still perfectly useable for milk or cream, you can see the crack to one side in particular as photographed. Nevertheless, a charming vintage art deco set. Diamater of tray - 34 cms. Height of teapot - 12 cms. Height of milk jug - 8.5 cms. Diameter of sugar bowl - 8.25 cms.
