Spelter Peacock Marble Photo Frame

Elegant art deco photo frame with marble base and spelter peacock. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and has a lovely black and green striping to the front. The peacock is beautifully modelled and the tail has intricate detail - also in excellent condition. The two original glass panes have very minor nibbles to the corners. The front pane has a silver border which is quite worn so could be replaced with the back pane of plain glass. The panes can be placed in a landscape or portrait position. A charming and unusual vintage art deco photo frame. Length - 40.25 cms. Depth - 7.25 cms. To hold photo of 24 x 18 cms (9.5 x 7 ins).
