Spelter Swallows Bookends

Stunning art deco bookends with spelter swallows on marble bases. The marble is cream lightly rippled with brown and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The swallows are beautifully stylised in a swooping position. A wonderful and rare pair of original art deco bookends; likely to be of French origin. Height - 11 cms. Length - 11.5 cms each. Depth - 7.5 cms each.
