Spelter Squirrel Marble Lamp

Wonderful art deco desk lamp on a marble base with a glass shade and a large spelter squirrel. The marble is red and white and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has stylish curved corners. The glass shade is in similarly good condition with no chips or cracks and has lovely pink and gold banding. Unsigned but this is likely to be Tedd piece, a prolific French manufacturer of the art deco era. The spelter is in excellent condition and the squirrel is fabulously modelled. Fully working, the lamp has been PAT tested and has the working original bakelite switch. A charming vintage art deco lamp. Length - 24 cms. Depth - 8 cms. Height - 16 cms.
