Spelter Pheasant on Banded Marble

Stunning art deco figure of a strutting pheasant on marble. This beautiful piece from the 1930s originates from France. The marble base is cream with red trails and the front has fabulous panels of green and black onyx. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The spelter pheasant is wonderfully modelled and has hints of colouring to the spelter which look fantastic when light hits. Also in excellent condition. A truly striking vintage art deco statuette. Width - 53.75 cms. Depth - 14 cms. Height  - 25.5 cms.
