Spelter Horse Marble Bookends

Stunning pair of art deco bookends. The bases are made from red and orange rippled marble - in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The bookends each have a beautifully modelled rearing horse made from spelter which are both in excellent condition. One horse is slightly darker in colour and there is some minor tarnishing to the patina. A more unusual subject for bookends - these are a truly beautiful vintage art deco pair. Height - 15 cms. Width each  - 16 cms. Depth - 8.25 cms.
