Spelter Gazelle Octagonal Mantel Clock

Stunning art deco mantel clock with leaping gazelles. Fully working, this has an 8 day winding movement with key. The solid marble base is black with a beautiful banded front panel and two feet. The clock face has a marble surround in an octagonal shape and wonderfully rippled dial. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The hands and numbering as well as the glass are also in wonderful condition. To the side of the clock, there are two spelter gazelles which are very well modelled and are on a sloping base of beige coloured marble. There are a few very minor nicks to the spelter but hardly noticeable and mentioned for accuracy only. A fabulous vintage art deco clock that has such a striking impact. Width - 52.25 cms.
