Spelter Gazelle Marble Photo Frame

Beautiful art deco photo frame from France. The base is made from a lovely white and dark red/brown rippled marble base with different strips of marble along the front including a pretty green/blue colour and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; a very minor rough edge to one side but felt rather than seen. The spelter gazelle to the side is very nicely modelled and in similarly excellent condition. The original glass panes can be positioned vertically or horizontally and the front pane has a charming black and gold border however this is worn slightly in places and so could be positioned to the back so not on show if preferred. A wonderful and original art deco photo frame. Length - 40 cms. Depth - 7 cms. To hold photo of 18 x 15 cms (7 x 6 ins) although could take bigger panes if preferred.
