Spelter Elephant Bookends

Stunning and rare pair of art deco bookends. The bases are made from marble which is predominantly white with subtle grey trails throughout. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The bookends each have a beautifully modelled elephant made from spelter which are both in excellent condition; some minor discolouration to the back of one foot. A very minor pinprick hole to one of the elephant trunks. A fabulous vintage art deco pair of bookends. Height - 11 cms. Width each  - 13 cms. Depth - 8 cms.
