Fabulous art deco bookends with dogs on a marble base. The Alsatian or German Shepherds are spectacularly modelled from spelter and in excellent condition. Lovely to have them in different poses. The bases are made from a black marble with striking white trails; again in excellent condition with no cracks. Some very minor nibbling. Getting harder to source in such good condition! A charming pair of original art deco bookends and would make a stylish addition to any room. Height - 12 cms. Length each - 14 cms. Depth - 8.25 cms.
