Spelter Boat Marble Photo Frame

Rare and charming art deco photo or picture frame. With a red marble base rippled with trails of grey and white, this has a wonderfully modelled boat made from spelter. The marble is in very good condition with no cracks; there is a small chip to the underside of one corner barely noticeable on display. The boat is in excellent condition and has a very lovely miniature photo contained of Fort Mahon in France. It has a perspex front pane and a cardboard backing. The pane can be positioned in a portrait or landscape orientation. Currently this has a paper print of 'Two Little Girls with Ribbons' by Tamara de Lempicka c1925 for display purposes  A fabulous vintage art deco photo frame. Width - 35 cms. Depth - 9.75 cms. To hold photo of 18 x 13 cms (7 x 5 ins).
