Sowerby Oxford Uranium Glass Lemonade Set

Rare and stunning water or lemonade glass jug and six beakers. Made by British manufacturer Sowerby in the 1930s, these pieces are all made from uranium glass meaning it glows under uv light. A highly collectable set called the Oxford pattern, it is rare to find the glass beakers to match the jug. All are in excellent condition with the exception of one glass which has a chip to the base as photographed hence the lower price than a previous set for sale with all in perfect condition. With a beautiful design, this is a wonderful vintage art deco set. Height of jug - 16 cms. Height of beakers - 9.5 cms.
