Sowerby Amber Pandora's Box

Beautiful art deco piece by British manufacturer, Sowerby, in the 1930s. This is called 'Pandora's Box' and the vibrant amber glass has depictions of a kneeling woman moulded into each side. Rare to find with the lid! In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Some minute nibbles to the underside of the lid but tiny and mentioned only for accuracy. The lid fits loosely. A truly wonderful and rare piece of original art deco glass. Height - 19.5 cms. Diameter - 12.5 cms.
