Smiths Enfield Bakelite Mantle Clock

Beautiful art deco mantle clock made from Bakelite. Manufactured by Smiths, this is in full working order and has an 8 day movement. The bakelite is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there are some tiny white paint dots on the surface but incredibly small. The face and glass are also in similarly excellent condition. There is rusting and pitting to the chrome edge as shown. The handle to open the door at the back of the clock has been broken but is still useable and doesn't show once on display. The clock comes with pendulum and key. A really stylish art deco timepiece from a good quality manufacturer. Height - 20.5 cms. Length - 22 cms. Depth - 12.5 cms.
