Seagull on Oval Marble

Stunning art deco statue of a seagull riding a wave. The herring gull is made from spelter which has some minor wear but is very well modelled. The ciocorosa marble base is an unusual oval shape and is in wonderful condition with a white base with dark pink and grey trails. A fabulous example of art deco . Height - 24.5 cms. Base - 40 x 15 cms.
