Sainte Radegonde Green Lion

Spectacular and original art deco lion. Attributed to François Levallois; owner and sculptor at Sainte-Radegonde in the 1930s however this piece, like many from that manufacturer, is unsigned. Made from ceramic, this fabulous lion is in a fabulous prowling pose and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are one or two kiln frits made during the firing process however these are minimal. Any white marks are just camera reflection. A truly magnificent art deco lion and a wonderful statement piece for any room. Length - 49 cms. Height - 19 cms. Depth - 16 cms.
