Raymond Magnavox Bakelite & Catalin Speaker

Super stylish art deco speaker cased in wonderful dark brown bakelite with green catalin bakelite grille. Made by Raymond Electric Ltd (of Perivale, Middlesex). This is being sold as a decorative piece only and if the new owner wants to attempt to get it working, it should only be tested by a qualified electrician as it still contains the original mechanics. The bakelite and catalin is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there are some tiny scratches to the corner and two patches of fogging as photographed but minor only. It looks fabulous on display and is a stunning piece of art deco history. Width - 33 cms. Height - 23 cms. Depth - 14 cms.
