Pierre Le Faguays Silvered Bronze Spring Dance

Stunning and rare large bronze by French sculptor Pierre Le Faguays (1892 - 1962). This spectacular piece is a silvered bronze named Spring Dance. Signed to the corner of the marble with Le Faguays and mounted on a rectangular verdigris marble socle. The figure is beautifully sculpted and is of superb quality with a charming face and in a dancing playful pose. In excellent condition with some very minor loss of patination to the rear of her head. A spectacular and impressive art deco statement piece. Height - 48 cms.
