Pierre Le Faguays Bronze Tambourine Dancer

Stunning and rare large bronze by French sculptor Pierre Le Faguays (1892 - 1962). This spectacular piece is a patinated bronze named Tambourine Dancer. Signed to the base of the bronze with Le Faguays and mounted on a rectangular verdigris marble socle. The dark green figure is beautifully cast and is of superb quality with a charming face and in a joyful pose. In excellent condition with minute nibbles to the corners of the marble only. A spectacular and impressive art deco statement piece. Height - 54 cms.
