Peter Sega Spelter Scarf Dancer

Wonderful spelter figure by French sculptor Peter Sega. An original from the art deco period, this gorgeous female is known as the Scarf Dancer and has a lovely fluid motion to it. Signed for P Sega and France to the socle. In very good condition, this large piece has some minor pitting and discolouration to the patina but doesn't detract. It is very slightly loose on the base but could well be tightened.  The black marble base is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A great vintage art deco figure. Height - 41 cms.
