Patinated Spelter Squirrel Bookends

Charming pair of original art deco bookends. The bases are of white marble and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The bases are decorated with a pair of green patinated spelter squirrels which are beautifully modelled and in very good condition with some scuffs to the green as photographed and minute nibbles to the edge of the bases. Likely to be of French design but are unmarked. A fabulous pair of vintage art deco bookends. Height - 14.25 cms. Width  - 15 cms. Depth - 9 cms.
