Pair of Chrome Lamps with Concertina Shades

Beautiful and original pair of art deco lamps with glass shades. This is a very near matching pair - the shades are identical, the bases are of the exact same design however there is a 2 cms difference in height. Noticeable when placed next to each other but indistinguishable if on separate bedside or coffee tables. The stems and bases are made from chrome with stylish engine turned design to the base. In excellent condition, with minor signs of age only. The original and stylish glass shades are in the concertina shape with white background and beautiful pink streaking. The shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Fully working as shown with the bakelite base switches still functioning and recently PAT tested. Displayed here with two differing bulbs of cool white and warm white to show how light diffuses depending on your preference. This pair is a wonderfully classic art deco example. Height - 45 and 43 cms.
