Pair of Carlton Ware Mikado Vases

Stunning art deco pair of vases made by Carlton ware in the 1920s in the mikado pattern with scenes of a pagoda and trees. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Interestingly, the vases have different designs to the back where perhaps the artists were allowed more free rein. A really stunning glaze and fully backstamped. Colours and gilding are still bright. A very pretty vintage art deco pair. Height - 16.25 cms.
