Max Neiger Bakelite Egyptian Revival Pelican Necklace

Absolutely stunning long necklace made by famous Czech jewellery manufacturer Max Neiger of Jablonec in the 1930s. His jewellery is highly sought after and he was one of the finest exponents of Egyptian Revival style. This gorgeous piece is made from glass and bakelite with a bakelite pelican. The glass beads are uv reactive. In excellent condition and amazing attention to detail. A rare and wonderful piece of vintage art deco jewellery. The total length is 84 cms (33 ins). The pelican is 7 cms.
