Max Le Verrier Bronze Isa Car Mascot

Stunning and rare bronze by French sculptor Max Le Verrier (1891 - 1973). This wonderful piece is a bronze car mascot in the shape of a female known as Isa. This is allegedly based on American dancer Isadora Duncan. Signed to the back of the bronze, the figure is wonderfully modelled and in excellent condition. It is mounted on a beautiful black and verdigris marble circular base in very good condition with one minute chip to the underside of the marble (barely noticeable). A high quality and fabulous vintage art deco piece of history. Height - 17.5 cms.
