Marble Sphere Bookends

Stylish art deco bookends made from marble. An original from the period, they have suffered some damage previously and have a historical repair  as photographed where there is evidence of a large crack. One of the spheres is slightly loose although will not come away and there are a few small chips here and there. Even though the crack isn't really noticeable unless up close and actually looks like a vein in the marble, the damage is reflected in the price, The bookends each have a lovely deep red coloured sphere. A wonderful pair of vintage art deco bookends despite the flaws. Height - 11.5 cms. Width  - 13.25 cms. Depth - 9 cms.
