Marble Bookends with Photo Frames

Wonderful and rare art deco bookends with photo frames. The bases are made from a beige marble with reddy brown mottling; in excellent condition with no cracks. With a pair of glass panes that slot into the marble, these are such an unusual pair. The glass is in very good condition - one pane is slightly smaller than the front pane but not noticeable if placed to the back. Currently with paper prints of 'Portrait of a Man in a Club Chair' and 'Her Sadness' c1923 by Tamara de Lempicka for display purposes. A fabulous pair of original art deco bookends and would make a stylish addition to any room.  Height - 16.5 cms. Length each - 14.25 cms. Depth - 7.75 cms. To hold photos of 14 x 9 cms (5.5 x 3.5 ins).
