Louviere Crackle Glaze Elephant Bookends

Beautiful and rare art deco ceramic bookends in the form of elephants. Made and signed by Louviere. Emaux de Louvière was a Belgian sculptor in the 1920s and 30s. Wonderfully modelled and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The crackle glaze is difficult to photograph but can be seen in the close up picture. A fabulous and hard to find pair of signed original art deco bookends. Height - 15 cms. Width each  - 15 cms. Depth - 10 cms.
