Limousin Leaping Antelope on Marble

Magnificent art deco sculptured antelope on a marble base. Signed Limousin, this original French piece has a beige rippled marble base with black banding to the front. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The spelter antelope is fantastically modelled with wonderful elongated features and muscles. In very good condition with some minor nicks and scuffs to the back of the antelope as pictured but doesn't detract from this large and striking vintage art deco piece. Width  - 54.75 cms. Depth - 15 cms. Height - 24.5 cms.
