Leaping Gazelle Lamp

Rare and striking art deco lamp. With a wooden base, a metal silhouette of a leaping gazelle and a stunning frosted glass shade. Fully working and recently rewired and PAT tested. The oblong wooden base is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is a beautiful dark tone. The gazelle is in a wonderful streamlined leaping pose. The metal is in similarly excellent condition. The shade has a charming design moulded to each side of the hexagon and again has no chips or cracks. The chrome arm is in good condition however there is a patch of tarnishing as can be seen in the last photograph. With the original bakelite switch still functioning, this is a truly special art deco lamp. Width - 30 cms. Height - 28.5 cms. Depth - 8.75 cms.
