Leaping Gazelle Bookends

Stunning French art deco bookends with leaping gazelles on a marble base. The gazelles are spectacularly modelled from spelter and in very good condition however one of the antlers has been broken off at the end (not hugely noticeable especially if placed at the back) and shown in the photographs. The bases are made from a beautiful black marble rippled with cream; again in excellent condition with no cracks. There is a minute chip to the bottom corner as pictured.  A beautiful pair of original art deco bookends and would make a stylish addition to any room.  Height - 17.25 cms. Length each - 16 cms. Depth - 8 cms.
