Le Parfum de la Rose Peach Glass Sculpture

Spectacular large peach glass sculpture on black wooden plinth. This piece c1920s depicts a beautiful lady smelling a rose and wearing a hat designed by famous millener Marthe Collot. This substantial piece is based on the fashion illustration artwork by André Edouard Marty c1924 although the glass maker is unknown. The piece weighs 3.4kg (nearly 4kg with the black plinth) and is in superb condition with no chips or cracks. It looks even more stunning backlit. The black wooden plinth is in similarly excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A very special piece of art deco glass and very hard to find. Glass measurements: Height - 22 cms.
