Large Spelter Pheasant on Marble

Stunning art deco figure of a strutting pheasant on marble. This beautiful piece from the 1930s originates from France. The marble base is cream with purple/red trails and a black and cream banded front. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The spelter pheasant is wonderfully modelled and has hints of gold and bronze. Also in excellent condition. A truly striking vintage art deco statuette. Width - 53.5 cms. Depth - 13.25 cms. Height  - 25.5 cms.
