Large Spelter Deer Marble Bookends

Fabulous art deco bookends with deer on a marble base. This pair is larger than the usual size. The deer are spectacularly modelled from spelter and in excellent condition with a beautiful patina; just minor signs of age. The bases are made from a reddy brown marble with white flecks and trails; again in excellent condition with no cracks. Getting harder to source in such good condition! They still have the original retail sticker to the base from Amiens, France. A charming pair of original art deco bookends. Height - 20.5 cms. Width each - 18.5 cms. Depth - 8.75 cms.
