Kriesler 11-20 Bakelite Radio

Super stylish art deco radio cased in wonderful brown bakelite. This is a rare model to find in the UK as it's an unusual Australian model by the Kriesler company. Made c1951, this gorgeous shape was known as the 'Toaster'. This is being sold as a decorative piece only however it has been PAT tested and appears to make a noise and there is some static. I can't seem to tune to a station however. The bakelite is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It looks fabulous on display and is a charming piece of later art deco history which is not easy to come across. Width - 30 cms. Height - 21.5 cms. Depth - 20 cms.
