Karl Palda Perfume Bottle
Rare and stunning glass art deco perfume bottle made by Czech designer Karl Palda in the 1930s. This has a fantastic diagonal striped pattern to it in black enamel. The collar is marked made in France. This is because, whilst Czech manufacturers made exquisite glass, French manufacturers produced higher quality atomiser mechanisms. Because of this, luxury glass workshops like Karl Palda routinely imported their metal collars, internal siphon mounts and spray heads directly from elite French manufacturers like Marcel Franck or Le Parisien. Highly collectable pieces, this bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The puffer is missing however these are sourced cheaply from a variety of online shops. These pieces are hard to find in such great condition. A fabulous vintage art deco gift for yourself or someone else! Height - 10.25 cms
