Karl Palda Decanter

Rare and stunning glass art deco decanter. Made by Czech designer Karl Palda in the 1930s, it has two different but fantastic monochrome patterns on either side; one with striping and one with a floral design. Highly sought after pieces, this is in excellent condition with no cracks - one minute nibble to the very top of the stopper as photographed. These pieces are hard to find in such great condition. This could also have been used as a perfume bottle. Although very large, the wealthy in the art deco era were known to have oversized scent bottles. A fabulous vintage art deco piece of glass.
