Irenee Rochard Sea Gull Clock Garniture

Stunning and rare art deco clock garniture. Made in France by the superb sculptor Irénée Rochard in the 1920s and signed accordingly. The gull is spectacular in size and design. It has dulled over time but this patina should be expected of an item this age. The beautiful clock itself is made from differing colours of onyx and marble; wonderful translucent creams and browns with a black marble base. In excellent condition with only very minor nibbles as photographed. The side pieces add to the spectacular deco design and are in similarly excellent condition. This magnificent clock is in full working order having been converted to quartz battery. A truly superb vintage art deco clock garniture.
