Ianthe Chrome Fire Companion Set

Fabulous art deco fireside companion set consisting of shovel, brush, poker and tongs on a stand. Topped with a Scottish Thistle design to each of the pieces. The chrome is in very good condition with some very minor tarnishing but not overly noticeable. There is a little wear to the bristles on the brush and the poker has been well used! The centre pole is  a vibrant red. There is some scuffing to the lower edge of the centre pole as photographed. Unmarked but I've similar sets before made by Ianthe which was a trading name of Ian Heath, Birmingham. A stylish and rare set to find still altogether. Height - 36 cms.
