Heinrich Hoffmann Uranium Glass Victoire Car Mascot

A rare and stunning art deco uranium glass car mascot. Originally designed by René Lalique in the 1930s, this was made by the Hoffmann factory and is known as Victoire. This stunning glass figure was designed as a high quality car mascot. This reproduction piece was made in Bohemia using the original molds (the originals castings now reach into thousands of pounds). In excellent condition with some very minor marking to one side of the face and a bubble in the glass made during the manufacturing process. The mascot has more of a greener look without uv light than my camera shows. A gorgeous talking piece! Width - 25.5 cms. Height - 16.5 cms. Diameter of base - 6.5 cms.
