Hanley Silver Plated Biscuit Barrel

Pretty art deco biscuit barrel. Made by Hanley in the 1930s, this ceramic jar has a wonderful pearlescent sheen to the sides and lovely detailed stripes to each corner. The top is made from silver plate. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks; a small patch where the glaze is slightly matte. The silver plate on the rim and handle is in excellent condition. The lid has some loss of plate as shown. The inside is nice and clean. A charming vintage art deco barrel. Height to top of finial - 16 cms. Width - 12 cms.
