Hagenauer Carved African Bust

An exquisitely carved wooden bust in the late 1920s. This piece is of an African woman and has wonderful detail and is attributed to Franz Hagenauer (1906 - 1986). There appears to be no signature present although the underside of the base is worn and there does appear to be some faint marking perhaps of an old HAG mark. As such, although I'm convinced of it's authenticity due to the quality, the price reflects the lack of mark. Others with signature fetch upwards of £500. A fabulous vintage art deco piece.
